My Honest Morning Routine
This one took me a while to write. Especially because I wasn't sure If I even had a “Routine” but when I did sit and think it over,
I just have a pattern of things I tend to usually do in the mornings, some good, some not so much, hence the “Honest” Part. Here we Go~
- DON’T SNOOZE- This is Something that comes rather easily to me, because I’m more of a morning person and I know I’ll run late if I even wake up 5min later. So yes, on MOST Days, I wake up on the first ring of my alarm.
- MAKE MY BED- This may be basic but it just tells my mind to not fall back to sleep and open the Curtains.
- GET READY 1.0- This is like the first version of getting ready where I wash my face and brush and change into the same clothes to go to my driving class. My morning routine changes according to my schedule but for the past month, It’s been driving class.
- GET ME THAT CAFFEINE: Okay, i know it’s not completely healthy to have coffee on empty stomach so I’ve been trying to cut back *mini efforts* and this is one time where I don’t let anything get to me, whether I’m late or the Text Messages. Just Sip Coffee before the Chaos that is my life. This is also the time I actively use to sort of fill in my planner because my schedule is always haywire and consists of miniscule and minute tasks which I tend to rather forget thanks to my peanut sized memory but yes, I do that and keep track of a few things.
- GET READY 2.0: This is where post Shower I get ready for my day. This routine is essentially when I have to go out (Which is almost all four/five days). So depending on where I’m heading I dress- Work or College or to run some errands.
This also Includes getting ready- As in some Sun Screen, basic Liner and Lipstick, that’s all. All My daily Use Products are listed below, if you’re interested.

Eye Liner: I use the Faces Canada Magnet eyes Eyeliner daily and I LOVE that it has a rather brush, it really helps me make that perfect wing effortlessly. I like the gel consistency as well- not too thick and sticky but just fluid enough for easy usage

Lip Stick: This changes depending on the kind of day, or where I’m headed to, but mostly I go for Maybelline Nude Nuance shade- 657. It’s perfect for Office Wear because It’s Subtle and Natural. But If I feel a lil adventurous I mix this lipstick with Maybelline’s Intense Crayon in the shade Bold Burgundy

Urban Decay- “Ravenswood Cream”~ This one is a perfect blend between a nude and pink. Long staying and Creamy and most importantly, does not Dry your lips
Nykaa-”Bare Minimum '' 47M~ This one is almost similar to the Urban Decay one but a little more on the Pink side. Works well and Stays for a reasonable amount of time. The mini one is so travel friendly as well.

- GET MY SH*T TOGETHER- This means mentally and Physically as in get my Bag together. I always take a fruit on the go with me and pack my stuff for the day
- HAPPY TUMMY: I really really am Working on this. For the longest time, I was averse to eating anything in the morning and just considered Coffee as breakfast but I’ve been trying to break it off by having something light for breakfast. It really helps me get some mental sanity, I’ve realized.
- SET MY MOOD: By this, I mean the playlist I listen to on my commute. I opt for really bouncy and almost GYM music because it sets my mood and gives me that push to actually stay active throughout and not just survive the day.
