These Quotes = Self Reminders
I have a book dedicated for writing down all the quotes, excerpts and learnings I've gathered from Reading, watching and Listening to Stuff. I was randomly flipping through pages ( I do that from time to time) and it makes me realize and remember all the stuff I've written and overtime, I've tried to remember and implement. If I were to write down about all of them, It'd probably make a small book but I decided to share some of the excerpts that truly changed me, my perception and just was eye opening, and sometimes, just a reminder.
"If you Really Want it, make your Dream happen"
Every time you lose hope or feel demotivated, just read it, read it until you feel it. How badly you want it will just give you enough motivation to get back at it, no matter how hard or impossible it may seem at the moment. Do everything in your power to make it happen.
I can't help but think of life as a Story and how we live our lives dreaming of lives as of those in Cinemas (essentially which are stories) I can't help but make me think of how everyone's lives are just stories, they are stories waiting to be told. So tell yours, SCREAM, Paint, draw, talk, write. We reveal ourselves through our art, so Create. Leave a part of yourself in everything you do.
.Think, Create & Express.
Every time I think about this, I think about a chameleon. but jokes aside, I think it's a reminder that nothing is constant, Change is the only thing constant. Don't question it, Go with it.
You're bound to change when you're exposed to new people, thoughts, ideas and BOOKS, so don't be repulsed by changed or surprised, welcome it. It's a part of being human.
"The World is a Very Unreliable Critic"
This is for everyone who has let society get to them, which is EVERYONE and stopped them from being their authentic real self, the Unabashed, Unapologetic ,Unbothered, Carefree REAL Self. This reminds me of another quote which goes like "We forfeit three-fourths of our selves trying to be someone else" It's not worth it. I'm not saying it's easy to train your mind, but we can make a start.
"Give Yourself the Permission to Dream"
Sometimes we are so caught up in the present reality or how things currently are, we don't dare to dream, because you don't want them to be crushed. But on the Other hand, dreams are the first step towards achieving them, so Dream, Work and Give it your all. Doesn't the World Survive on Hopes & Dreams?
"Sip, Don't Gulp"
This Summarizes a life mantra in three words, Sip life, One day a time, taste it, Relish and Devour it and Enjoy. Often so, We're so eager for next sip, we tend to Gulp and forget to Enjoy it. So take it one moment at a time. JUST BE PRESENT (I'm trying this too.)
