AN OPEN LETTER TO LIFE

 AN OPEN LETTER TO LIFE

The other day, I found myself recalling one of the things my friend said. It goes something like Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

I’ve often found myself planning things meticulously to appoint where I made lists for things I need to make a list of. This got me thinking that most of the times that I’d planned something, I have always received something better from the universe, at the right time, exactly when I was ready to receive it. That is when I had an epiphany, that the amount of time I spent planning and contemplating everything, I missed out on Life. I could have spent that time reading, writing poetry, dancing

So here goes, Life thank you for surprising me, exciting me and above all, to give me exactly what I need(ed) at the right time. One of my favorite movies, called “Me Before You” is an everyday reminder, to live each day, fully and unapologetically. The quote from the movie  "You only get one life. It's actually your duty to live it as fully as possible." is personally a reminder to make each day count.

One of the most important thing about living is appreciating and actually doing everything that makes you feel alive whether it is as simple as a morning cup of coffee  going to meet a friend to another city. DO IT.

I ask myself quite often these days before I hesitantly say no to something is “ If not now, then when?” That has changed my perspective on so many things,

It has made me live more brightly and live in the present moment

I would end this letter by quoting John Keating from “ Goodwill Hunting” " Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary”

Go on, your life awaits you
