2022 has been an year filled with travel. and as this year is coming to an end, I can't help up reminisce all the trips I've taken and this blog post is a consequence of that.
Also, on a side note, this is the second time I'm writing the same blog post because my last post got erased. *single curve smile emoji*
OKAY LET'S GO!
THIS OR THAT (TRAVEL EDITION)
1) Mountains or Beaches?
Okay if someone asked me I'd still say both, but I feel subconsciously I gravitate towards mountains. 3/5 trips year involved mountains. Greenery, fresh air and the cold weather. Sounds like paradise.

2) Have a plan or go with the flow?
As much as I want to say I would enjoy going with the flow but I LOVE PLANNING. Planning a trip is so much fun. definitely plan for a trip. I also think a person can definitely travel efficiently and cover more places if it's planned.

| P.S- This is only half of the check list |
Up early. On trips I'm a morning person. I will get up ahead of time, plan my outfit, plan the day and also wake everyone else and make everyone follow the schedule. Yes, I'm that person.

4) Hotel or Air Bnb?
I prefer Air Bnb simply because I think there's more options, once could opt for a whole villa, or even a room, I think it's also cheaper than hotels if chosen smartly.

5) Exploring or chilling?
I'm so jealous of people who can just relax on a vacation because I'm the exact opposite of that. I will not sit in one place, I will either meticulously plan so that there is relaxation time only counts for night sleep or spontaneously wander out. Exploring when on vacation, definitely.
6) Night in or Night out?
If given an option, I'd definitely pick night out. On one of my trips this year, despite reaching late at night, we ventured out, just to get a glimpse of the place.

7) Lunch in a restaurant or picnic in a park?
I generally like the idea of a picnic so,without a doubt, picnic in a park. Picnic food like sandwiches, cake with greenery and a view is a 10/10. Definitely recommend.

8) Organized or improvised?
No matter how organized I am with the plan, I think it always turns out to be improvised. Although we wanted to check out the elephant camp on our way to Coorg, we were extremely tired and restless because of the travel. We were only able to do it while returning to Mysore. So, Improvised is realistic.

| The elephant camp on the way to Coorg |
This one is tough, I'd pick both but I think walks give an in depth glimpse into the local life of the place, On our trip to Shillong, we often came across this woman, who sat at the same spot to sell fruits, every time we'd notice and smile to each other out of familiarity.

10) Road trip or Plane?
I CANNOT pick one. I love both, my first trip of this year was a road trip and will end the year with a flight trip. So both.
Road trips are all about the pit stops for food, pee breaks and chai breaks
Flight trips are all about the anxious packing, leaving home three hours prior and hoping to make it on time.
That's all for now.
XOXO
