Healthy habits + recipes revealed!

I'm writing this munching on an apple. So yes, I think I'm on the right path to writing a blog on healthy habits. But jokes aside, I'm no expert and don't claim to know like one. These are just a few habits I've been following and making conscious choices when it comes to food intake

Habits

1) A fruit a day

So I started this habit in 2020 where I would at least try to consume one fruit a day and munch on seasonal fruits in different forms. So now essentially, it has become a habit. Now by evening if I don't a mental alarm going off in my head and I have a fruit

2) Add dry fruits to your diet

I've been the laziest when it comes to having dry fruits because they're all assorted and it just makes me not to want to take the effort. So my mom found a solution to this (check recipes) and since then, I've been adding this to eating a fruit a day.

3) substituting whole wheat Rotis for Jowar ki Roti (Sorghum Bread)

I know hot chapatis with vegetables is the ideal idea of comfort food, but substituting it with Jowar ki roti sometimes doesn't hurt. Jawar ki roti is rich in protein and is gluten free unlike whole wheat chapatis. Try once a week, then you can increase the frequency of the intake. (They don't taste bad when served hot.)

4) Eating breakfast

I considered coffee breakfast but I was wrong, heading out empty stomach has drastic changes in the long term. Having breakfast or a little something in the morning helps you get the energy you need to get going. Start by eating a fruit with your preferred morning drink.

5) Coconut water

Intake of coconut water has proven to have so many benefits like healthier skin, good hair and has antioxidant properties but above all, it tastes divine.

Once a week is a good start.
