The Subtle Art Of Accessorizing
Christian Marclay, A Visual Artist once said “Art is all in the details” and I think that applies
to fashion as well. As Crop Tops, Tie-Dyes and loose fits have taken over the
internet and fashion world by storm, there are a few things that outlive these “trends”.
Here are five ways you can accessorize your outfits and take it from
a basic level to a well thought out outfit.
Scrunchies have been existing in the market for a while but after the “VSCO Girl” trend, Scrunchies have become more famous than ever.
They’re cute, easy to wear and most IMPORTANTLY, keep the hair out of your face.
They come in different fabrics like Satin, Organza and some even
have extensions to tie as a bow.
I usually pair mine with super simple outfits so the attention goes to the scrunchie.
A good example would be with a plain white tee with mildly washed blue jeans.
Want to look like you put effort into styling your hair? Scrunchies are the easy way out.
“Less is More” is the way to go. The minimal, the better. Layered necklaces,
if layered well or even one strand necklaces make you look poised, elegant and suave.
Now pairing your earrings with this can be tricky.
A key point to remember is that, if your necklace is layered and your outfit is dressy, going with simple studs is preferred
but if you’re wearing a single strand necklace, hoops or even dainty drops or danglers complete the entire look.
And Most importantly, go completely in one color- whether it’s gold or silver. DON’T MISMATCH.
Ear Cuffs or Pressed Ear Cuffs will just overall give your outfit the finishing touch.
And Trust me, it makes a difference. And trying something new is always fun
that you wear everyday can be your “look”.
For me, it’s my index ring, two silver “kadas” for Bracelets.
And my New addition, my new ring finger ring. Choose wisely.
When you are running out of time and Patience, hair clips can be the only thing that you require.
Depending on the outfit, whether it's Chic, Boho, casual. An addition of Pins will steal the show.
